Merri-bek BUG have joined the Streets People Love campaign ahead of the 2024 Merri-bek council election. All candidates have been asked to commit to the Streets People Love pledge and complete this survey. Together with Walk on Merri-bek we have created scorecards for each candidate taking into account:

Chloe Holmes is an Australian Greens candidate in Brunswick West Ward.
The Greens have a sound active transport policy. Greens councillors have been consistent in implementing measures from the Merri-bek transport strategy that support safe active transport and responding to residents concerns when raised. Holmes has a history of advocating for improved active transport outcomes in the community.
