Anstey Station
Council has received an application to subdivide the block at 216 Albion St, next door to Anstey Station.
One consequence of the proposed subdivision is that cyclists on the Upfield path would be forced to use the pedestrian walkway at the station entrance, with obvious safety implications.
Objections have been lodged with Council; we’ll keep you posted on progress.

No commentsTrain, tram or bike to Walk Against Warming day…
A final reminder that this Sunday 11th Nov is Walk Against Warming day!!
Moreland residents and friends of Moreland are invited to meet at either the Brunswick Town Hall or Victoria Mall, Coburg at 12pm on the day to travel in to the city together as a community.
From those meeting points, groups will be travelling in by train, tram and bike so you can choose whichever suits you.
Once in the city we will gather outside Melbourne Central Station on Elizabeth St and walk up together to join the crowd at the State Library.
If you prefer to go straight there, the main event starts at the State Library at 1pm and will walk to the Alexandra Gardens for festivities etc.
See you there!
