Melbourne On Ya Bike Going Away Party: 13th Feb
Two mates, a coupla push bikes, a passion for music and adventure, and
15,000kms of cycling ahead of them. What a mission!
Melbourne musician Rob Sawyer and good mate Harv Scholes will be taking the idea of the troubadour musician that extra step, embarking on a national tour cruising from town to town by bicycle.
The tour cuts out the carbon emissions of another car or flights from city to city, and spreads the word about keeping Australia clean and beautiful. The first show for the tour at The East will be a huge send off party with the bikes on display. Unfortunately the boys won’t be able to get drunk with you one more time – there’s lots of pedaling to do!!
Come and give the boys some encouragement at the first show for the tour, on Wednesday 13th February, at the East Brunswick Club.
Doors around 8pm, $10 @ the door. Rob will be playing solo + support from Luke Foran (QLD).
Come check out the bikes Rob and Harv will be riding, and farewell them hopefully for a successful 4 months of cycling around the country.
